The scientific research and innovation sector is one of the sectors aimed at building research capacity by improving the current situation to enhance productivity, efficiency, and providing quick solutions to the obstacles faced by researchers, as well as providing funding for research proposals that meet the needs of the Sultanate. Building national capacities in priority areas for the Sultanate, including qualified personnel and supportive infrastructure for research, development, and innovation. To achieve leadership in research and development in some areas that have priority for the Sultanate enables it to do so.
